Plainfield Freedom U9 Blue Boys

Win 8th Straight tournament in Two Years

Over the past two years the Plainfield Freedom Boys have played in eight tournaments and have eight first place finishes.  What makes this past victory a bit more special is the boys played up at the Premiership level at the U10 age level.   The 2009 Midwest Cup Soccer Tournament was held in St. Charles, IL over the Memorial Day weekend.  The Freedom Boys defeated the Glen Ellyn Lakers FC Green 2-1 in the Championship game on Monday morning.  In order for the boys to get to the Championship game they defeated the Rockford Raptors U10 8-4 and the Campton United Tango team 8-0.
