Plainfield Freedom U8 Girls Soccer Team WINS Hawks Cup!

  The Plainfield Freedom U8 Girls travel soccer team took 1st place at the Hawks Cup in Oakbrook, which was held over the first weekend in May.  The girls went undefeated in the tournament, with victories over Team Chicago (3-0), Naperville Challengers (1-0), Plainfield Legends (3-0), and Lyons Township (2-0).  Not only did the offense score, but he defence held strong, with no goals scored on the team through all four games.  Top:  Coach Hansen, Karlie Sharp, Abigail Lamlech, Isabella Alessio, Madelynn Calder, Coach Lopez.  Bottom: Megan McKay, Abby Day, Jenna Christmas, Catherine Williams, McKenna Hansen.   Congratulations to the Freedom U8 Girls Soccer Team for a great tournament!
